Executive Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient individual who will work alongside the Assistant Chief Executive and Estate Manager to support the Society’s core activities and deliver upon a number of strategic objectives to embrace technology in order to improve contract and data management.

Main activities

  • Implementing new administrative systems for contract management, in particular for showground leases, licences and utility agreements

  • Providing general land and estate management support, together with financial management of rental income etc

  • Assisting with insurance policies and compliance matters to include licencing and planning

  • Supporting the Assistant Chief Executive’s various committees and working groups

  • Providing administrative support for the Welsh Ploughing Association and the successful running of the annual All Wales Ploughing & Hedging Championships

  • Overseeing e-ticketing and provision of free WiFi at events

  • Conducting research and development of e-commerce platforms/databases

  • Organising training and external stakeholder events

  • To provide support to major projects/reviews

  • Screening telephone calls, maintaining diaries and arranging appointments

  • Preparing letters, presentations and reports
