Lord Newborough, owner of the Rhug Estate, Corwen, North Wales, has been made an Associate of the Royal Agricultural Societies for his vision and dedication in developing and promoting in Britain and internationally the Rhug brand of organic meats and other organic produce from the estate’s farms.

Ffermwyr o Gymru'n cael eu hanrhydeddu

Carmarthenshire farmer Robert Ryan Owen of Penywaun, Trap, Llandeilo, one of the founder members of the Carmarthen Farm Liaison Team which was set up to help guide farmers through the bureaucratic maze of complex schemes, quotas and rules imposed on the agricultural industry, has been made an Associate of the Royal Agricultural Societies.

CAFC yn sefydlu Fforwm Aelodau Ifanc

The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society has established a Young Members Forum as a means of promoting the society’s aims and objectives to the younger generation.

Brief details about the forum were revealed by the chairman of the Royal Welsh board of directors, John Davies, at a meeting of the society’s Council at Builth Wells.
