Anrhydeddau i ffermwyr o Gymru

Mae gwraig ffermwr o Gymoedd y Rhondda yn Ne Cymru wedi’i gwneud yn Aelod Cyswllt o’r Cymdeithasau Amaethyddol Brenhinol am ei gwaith arloesol mewn hyfforddiant busnes a rheoli i’r rheini sydd a wnelo â ffermio a diwydiannau cysylltiedig.

Mae Mrs Julie Thomas o Caerlan Farm, Tonypandy, cyn-ddarlithydd yng Ngholeg Amaethyddol Brynbuga, sy’n rhedeg fferm fynydd 300 erw gyda’i gŵr, wedi datblygu cyfleusterau hyfforddi ar y fferm ar gyfer cyrsiau dyfarnu i Lantra, y Cyngor Sector Sgiliau ar gyfer diwydiannau’r amgylchedd a’r tir. Ei chwmni - Simply the Best Training - yw’r unig ddarparwr Lantra yng Nghymru i fod wedi ennill statws Buddsoddwyr mewn Pobl.

Prif gŵn sioe Gŵyl Gwanwyn

More than 1000 dogs and their owners will converge on the Royal Welsh showground at Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, in May to compete for the prizes at the only premier open dog show held in Wales.

The ‘Premier Open Show’ status has been granted to the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society’s canine section by the Kennel Club for the fifth successive year, once again making it a qualifier for Crufts, the world’s largest dog show.

Rhaglenni allan ar gyfer Gwyl Wanwyn Frenhinol Cymru

A record 340 classes and special awards have been scheduled for this year’s Royal Welsh Spring Festival which takes place on the showground at Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, on May 18 – 19.

The livestock schedule for the event has gone out to thousands of smallholders and potential exhibitors and lists 143 classes and special awards for sheep, 63 for pigs, 78 for goats including Angora, Pygmy and Dairy breeds, and 10 for cattle.

The scurry driving classes at the Festival will be run under the rules of the Scurry Driving Association. Owners and drivers must be members of the Association and the ponies registered. The carriages also have to comply with standard measurements and axle widths.

£1500 o arian gwobrwyo ar gyfer cystadleuaeth coetiroedd Sioe Frenhinol Cymru

Woodland owners throughout Wales, who have added value to their forestry business through diversification and sustainable management, are being invited to compete for £1500 in prize money in a special Royal Welsh Agricultural Society competition.
