A baby feeding and changing area will be available and manned by Society Stewards and situated in a unit under the main grandstand. The service will be available from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. Map reference 16.
BIO-DIOGELWCH & ZOONOSES / BIO SECURITY & ZOONOSES
The Society has adopted Welsh Government’s motto of ‘be seen to be clean’ and asks that the public and exhibitors alike give their full co-operation, the Society is also keen to take precautions on public health. Please ensure that your footwear is visibly clean on entry to and exit from the livestock areas. The public are requested to wash their hands if they touch any animals. Disinfectant soap and hot water is available in all toilets. Please note that there will be external handwashing facilities in the livestock areas.
BYSIAU / BUSES
A free of charge bus will transport you from the Builth Road train station during the event opening times. The pick up and drop off point is near the machinery entrance toilet block as seen on the site map. For further information refer to www.thetrainline.com. A regular bus service also operates between Newtown and Cardiff on Saturday which is free of charge for all age groups. Further information can be sought from www.trawscymru.info/t4
MAES PARCIO / CAR PARKING
Free parking will be in designated areas on the showground.
MEYSYDD CARAFANAU A PHEBYLL / CARAVAN AND TENT PARKS
The public caravan and tent park will be located on the lower showground. Open from 12.00 noon Friday, 18May until 8pm Sunday 20 May 2018. Sites can be pre booked or booked on arrival at the event and cost £50.00.
The trade caravan park will be located on the lower showground. Open from Wednesday, 17 May until 10pm Sunday 20 May 2018. Sites can be booked before arrival at the event. The designated tent park will be near the horse ring, the car parking area will be external to this.
PWYNT ARIAN / CASH POINT
The Society has organised a cash point facility on site which will be next to the Crafts & Gifts (Montgomery Pavilion) map reference 14. Please note – a charge will be made per transaction by the service provider.
MAN BWYD A DIOD / FOOD AND DRINK QUARTER
The above will be staged in the Food Hall, Meirion Shearing Centre and extended into the NSA Pavilion in 2018. There will be street food outlets and a bar with a seating area and live music in the afternoons and into the Saturday evening until 9pm and tradestands and a full cookery demonstration programme in the Food Hall. Free public wifi is available in two areas. The Welsh Food Skills Centre will be in the NSA Pavilion. Map reference 23 & 10.
Toilets for the disabled are provided within the main toilet blocks by the Pig & Goat Ring, the Montgomery Pavilion, the Clwyd Glamorgan Hall, within the Smallholder Centre (South Glamorgan Exhibition Hall), Welcome (Members) Centre and the Horse Ring toilet block.
CŴN / DOGS
Dogs are welcome at the event and must be kept on a lead the whole time and are restricted from entering the buildings especially containing poultry, livestock and catering. Please do not leave dogs in cars. Exceptions will be made in the Food & Drink Quarter for visitors with assistance or hearing dogs.

Any lost child should be accompanied by two adults, if possible, and taken to the unit under the Grandstand or a Society Official. DBS checked stewards will care for the children.

SYSTEM SAIN / PUBLIC ADDRESS
The amplifier system is installed for the relaying of official announcements; however, the Society will make other announcements if it is felt to be absolutely necessary.
AILGYLCHU / RECYCLING
There will be a number of recycling stations at various locations on the showground. Please ensure you put the correct waste in the correct bin. There will be recycling wardens about, so if you need help just ask!
YSMYGU / SMOKING
Smoking will not be allowed in ‘enclosed’ or ‘substantially enclosed’ public places.
CATALOGAU ADRANNOL / SECTION CATALOGUES
Section catalogues will be sold during the event. Lists of exhibitors within the various sections i.e. premier open dog show, poultry, horses may be available and purchased from the sections on site. The Livestock Catalogue will be on sale on Friday between 2 - 7.30pm and Saturday 7-8.30am.
DIOGELWCH / SECURITY
CCTV cameras will be in operation on site. The security contractor will be present throughout the event and will continually be present at the livestock entrance from 7am on Friday 18 May until Sunday 20 May until 10pm.
TOILEDAU / TOILETS
Toilet blocks are situated as follows: -
the rear of HSBC Bank, Near Horse Ring, Horse Hill, Near to Entrance A, Main Ring Underpass, Between Avenue D & C, Near the Cattle Ring, Near the Pig & Goat Ring, and in the following buildings Welcome (Members) Centre, Crafts & Gifts (Montgomery) Pavilion, Smallholder Centre (South Glamorgan Exhibition Hall) and Hafod a Hendre.
TRENAU / TRAINS
For those wishing ‘to green’ their experience and travel by train to this year’s Festival there will be a minibus passenger collection service from Builth Road Rail Station meeting the Heart of Wales Line train service, times are available from www.thetrainline.com
A 16 seater mini bus will meet the train as above to transport visitors to the event. The provision will be arranged by Llanwrtyd Wells Community Transport. The drop off and pick up point will be next to the Machinery Entrance toilet block between Avenues C and D. Passengers wishing to be picked up on the showground must be at the designated area 20 minutes prior to the train departure times.
